I may have a puppy!

Precious Prudence
Adult Female
Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
Precious Prudence is a 6-year-old, 23-pound Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. She has a beautiful black-and-tan coat and a sweet disposition. Prudence came to us from a large-scale commercial breeding operation in another state. She is easy-going and gentle. Prudence is a happy girl who along well with other dogs and enjoys the company of people. She is calm, loving, friendly and affectionate. In short, this is one lovely dog who will make someone a great low-key companion. It’s time for her to find that special quiet home where she will be loved and appreciated for years to come.
We saw her at Petco today and fell in love. Oddly enough, it was a complete spur of the moment thing. Mom and I had gone to Whole Foods, and as we were leaving we heard barking. Petco has adoption saturdays, so we decided to go look. She was the first dog I saw.
App is in, and I should know sometime this week. She's a puppy mill dog, which brings an interesting set of challenges, but she is such a sweetheart. She's shy of people approaching her and will flinch a bit when you reach to pet her, but loves being talked to and held. Her name will be changed, so feel free to offer suggestions.
